The Mechanical Engineering Team at °Ä²Êͼ¿â Spezialtiefbau has extensive experience in the areas of consultation, design, and documentation for drilling rigs (Atlas) and pile drivers (Frankipfahl) as well as for machinery and equipment for construction site logistics such as access ramps, cross beams, and load-bearing equipment.

All the staff members are either engineers or technicians specialising in mechanical engineering. Two employees have additional qualifications as welding engineers so that the special civil engineering team can carry out welding work on structural steel in the construction supervision area, e.g., of reinforcement cages and sheet piles for customers such as the Deutsche Bahn (German Federal Railway), flexibly and without delay.

Our services focus on supporting partners within the °Ä²Êͼ¿â Group. To date, our internal customers include °Ä²Êͼ¿â Equipment Services (PES), °Ä²Êͼ¿â Tunnelbau and °Ä²Êͼ¿â Stahl- und Systembau.

Our consulting focus is on machinery and equipment for construction sites and on-site logistics. We can provide you with individual advice on the subject of the EU Machinery Directive / CE certification and will carry out risk analyses.

We offer comprehensive engineering services relating to the design of machinery and equipment for construction sites and site logistics:

• Preparation and validation of specification sheets and technical specifications.
• 3D-CAD design for realistic modelling
• 2D CAD drawing derivations for the production phase
• Preparation of parts lists and work schedules
• Planning of production processes
• Preparing and taking over production planning and production management
• Functional tests and implementation

CE conformity is a prerequisite for placing machines and systems on the market in the EU. This means that the machine or system must comply with the safety requirements listed in the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.

To prove the conformity of the machine with the requirements of the directive, we will support you in carrying out the conformity assessment procedure. Within the framework of the so-called conformity assessment to obtain the CE label, we will accompany you through:

• the initial technical documentation of machinery and equipment
• the technical follow-up documentation of machinery and equipment
• the creation of operating, assembly, and maintenance manuals
• Risk analyses with a focus on the Machinery Directive

Ensuring quality requirements is a top priority at °Ä²Êͼ¿â. This is also evidenced by our certificates and approvals. In order to always be up to date, our certificates and approvals are reviewed and updated on a regular basis through external audits and independent certification companies.

In addition, independent companies, such as Deutsche Bahn AG, confirm our skills and actions through prequalifications and special recognition.
