Divers monitor underwater concreting for the SuedLink project

Work on the Elbe crossing of the SuedLink, ElbX, is progressing under challenging conditions: the underwater concrete base has been installed in a 25-metre-deep construction pit. This step is a central milestone on the way to tunnelling under the Elbe. Since the start and finish shafts are in groundwater, the construction pits for the shafts must be waterproof and stable.
